Class Times, Prices and Student Guidelines

Please note that for the second half of 2009 I will not be offering classes on Friday mornings as I am developing my teaching curriculum for both my Sacred Healing  Practitioner courses and my Sound healing workshops entitled “HARMONISE YOUR BODY.”

Thank you for your interest and I invite you to revisit this site again early next year for updates on recommencement of classes.

 
Student Guidelines

I welcome you to my class where you will have the opportunity to learn how to connect with your breathing and your own pure sound to create stillness and healing. I have developed these guidelines for my classes.

Before Class;

Eating before class
It is best not to have your body trying to digest food whilst you are participating in class, so ensure you have finished a light breakfast at least 2 hours before class. If a medical condition prevents this, a small amount of fruit before class is fine.

Perfumes
Please do not wear strong perfumes or deodorants to class as some people are sensitive to these fragrances.

Mobile Phones
Never bring a mobile phone into class. Please do not just turn on to silent. You may forget one day and it will interrupt the class. Please ensure your mobile is left safely in your car.

Arrive a few minutes early
Please honour yourself and others by arriving in enough time to prepare quietly for class. If in exceptional circumstances you do arrive late, please take a few breaths to calm yourself then get everything organised from your bags so you can quietly come in and sit without disturbing others.

Enter the room in silence
Your class begins at the door. Please place prepaid vouchers and preferably correct money in box provided. Please come in and prepare yourself by sitting or lying quietly. Please do not visit others and start chatting. This is not unfriendly; it is a sign of respect for the sacred space, the class, the other students, your teacher, and what you will learn.

After Class;

Immediately the class is finished
When the class is finished, it is important to be receptive to your own body and thoughts. To allow this to happen, please do not talk to others whilst in the classroom. Please respect others' need to reflect and connect with themselves.

Effects during and after class
Because you have been working with the vibration of sound and states of relaxation through meditation, you may experience some of the following;
- tingling
- flashes of light or colour
- waves of emotion
- surges of heat
- nausea
- light headedness
- tightness
- awareness of sense of discomfort
- sense of euphoria
- heightened sensory awareness

One of the aims of these classes is for you to have the opportunity to increase self-awareness, so be observant of these sensations, witness them and listen to your inner guidance. Always connect with your breathing as they occur, especially if you are unsettled by these experiences.

Availability of myself after class
To respect others' need to be in silence and self-observation, I am not available after class to chat. If you would like to discuss your experience or would like to extend your healing further, please contact me to schedule an appointment.
